Sleepwalking in the state of sleep
Sleepwalking is similar to night terrors in that it occurs during the deepest part of sleep, non-REM sleep, except that instead of the fear center being activated briefly, the entire brain is activated. Most people who 'sleepwalk' don't actually get up to walk, just sit up, look left and right, mutter something to themselves, and then fall back to sleep. In a few cases, they get up to walk, eat, but more seriously, they also get up to clean, shower, dress (and go back to sleep in pajamas), drive, dance, have sex (!). And even examples of murder. Sleepwalking people's eyes are open, not like the ordinary people imagine with closed eyes groping forward, but the eyes are not god, and called for a long time will not necessarily have a response. The question now is, is the sleepwalker completely unconscious, or is he actually conscious, but with no recollection of it afterwards? Scientists do not have an answer for this, but from brain wave analysis, it seems to favor the former. So, your body can operate without you being involved at all. Eating (dream-eating), talking (somniloquy), and having sex while sleepwalking are often studied as three separate conditions.
